Around 6 p.m. Saturday evening, the 3 Mules guy was spotted traveling along the Alameda Creek trail towards Union City.
John Sears, who likes to be called "Mule", and his three mules have been living outside and traveling through 16 states for the past 10 years. Sears has been traveling all over the Bay Area to make a point about the freedom of movement in a car-dominated society.
Sears was last spotted in Gilroy and is making his way to the Golden Gate Bridge. Read more about that spotting here!
