Photo Gallery: Parking Lot Dining

Crowds follow Mogo BBQ, a mobile food truck that regularly frequents Union Landing.

One of the hottest trends in dining is . Often featuring a variety of ethnic, and rare, items, these mobile restaurants show up at different locations and events. In most instances, they announce their destinations only hours in advance via Twitter and Facebook.

While the sensation might be more popular in larger cities like Oakland and San Francisco, there's one mobile food truck that consistenly shows love to its Union City patrons.

The Santa Clara-based MoGo BBQ truck frequents Union Landing regularly, often setting up shop in vacant lots two or three times a week. They specialize in Korean BBQ served in burritos, tacos, sliders, quesadillas and bacon-wrapped hotdogs with kimchi.

The truck draws crowds wherever it land, with some customers following it religiously to different locations. You might have to wait a bit to get your food but, in the meantime, you may run into old friends also waiting for their order, or meet new ones.

Union Landing is one of MoGo's popular stops, according to Maggie Garcia, a MoGo employee.
