Niles Boulevard was lined with crowds of people celebrating the holiday season Friday night during the .

Families braved the crowds and the cold November night to witness the annual parade, which takes place in Fremont's historic Niles District. The parade route stretched through Niles Boulevard between F and J streets.

The parade celebrates the Christmas season and features local community groups such as the Niles Merchant Association and Cub Scouts Pack 112, as well as local marching bands and car clubs.

We were there. It was a wonderful evening from the street band (what is their name?) to the tap dancing Christmas trees to Sanra. So glad we went!
