3rd Annual Mighty 4 Day - Thank You!

The community attended Mighty 4 Arts Foundation’s 3rdAnnual Mighty 4 Day on Saturday, June 28th in downtownUnion City. Old Alvarado Park was filledwith a diversity of people who came to celebrate Hip Hop, Health, and Hope in beautiful weather. People enjoyed cultural performances byTehani Dance Studio and Yaw Yan Filipino Martial Arts. We Got Next breakin’ summer camp students performed what they learned from their week long breakin’ dance camp in front of the huge crowd of attendees. Everyone cheered them on! Food trucks with healthy options were on site. The Mighty 4 AwardsPresentation honored Union City resident Myrla Raymundo, Davey D, Gina Mariko, and B Boy Vietnam a member of Union City’s own international championship breakdancing crew, Rock Force. Attendees of all ages danced the day away to old and new music. The community got together, celebrated and hadfun!

The 3rd Annual Mighty 4 Day was a huge success because of its support system. The Mighty 4 Arts Foundation would like to thank everyone who contributed to the success of Mighty 4 Day!Our utmost gratitude goes to Kaiser Permanente for being a presenting sponsor.
