Update: Missing Man Found at Hospital

A man who relatives said disappeared April 3 was recently located at a hospital, police said.

Relatives reported to Union City police on April 13 that , 41, had checked himself into a hospital shortly after he we went missing, said Sgt. Steve Mendez of the Union City Police Department.

Mendez could not comment as to why he checked into a hospital but said that he was doing well.

Dickerson, a former Fremont resident, was staying at his uncle Michael Ledford’s home on Palm Drive in Union City. Ledford told investigators that Dickerson went to the store on the morning of April 3 and did not return.

By the time relatives located him at the hospital, Dickerson had already been there nine or 10 days, Mendez said.
