Police Search for Man Missing Since Sunday

William Dickerson, 41, was last seen Sunday in Union City and is believed to be at risk.

Union City police are searching for a man who was last seen in Union City on Sunday.

William Timothy Dickerson, 41, has been missing since around 11 a.m. Sunday, according to Sgt. Tom Gorrie.

Authorities believe Dickerson may be at risk because of statements that he made to his mother in the past, Gorrie said.

Dickerson, a former Fremont resident, was staying at his uncle Michael Ledford’s home on Palm Drive in Union City. Ledford told investigators that Dickerson went to the store on Sunday morning and did not return.

Ledford said he wasn’t aware of Dickerson making any statements about harming himself, Gorrie said.

Dickerson is described as a white male standing at 6’6” tall and weighing 290 pounds with brown eyes and short brown hair, according to Gorrie.
