Hydrogel Company Moves to Union City

mOasis recently signed a lease for a space in Dowe Business Park. The park now has 85 percent occupancy, according to a press release.

Hydrogel company mOasis is moving to Union City’s Dowe Business Park.

mOasis produces a polymer hydrogel that helps maximize crop yields by optimizing moisture and nutrient accessibility, allowing farmers to grow more crops while using less water.

Founded at Stanford in 2010, mOasis outgrew its previous space in Mountain View. The new location encompasses 11,000-square-feet in Dow Business Park.

“We now have a work space that offers both office and production space, as well as a lab. Dowe’s location is convenient for our East and South Bay-based employees and we look forward to the expansion and growth that the property will allow us,” mOasis CEO Susanna Kass said in a statement.

According to a press release from Harsch Investment Properties, the Dowe Business Park is the largest multi-tenant industrial center in Union City spanning 354,000-square-feet. The park offers a variety of spaces, from office space to research and development and industrial options.
